Welcome to the McKenna Academy
First founded in 1973 as Crino Dance and Gymnastic Arts this studio has a long running history of educating dancers in many styles of dance. We love to focus on how dance is transformative for everyone, not just for technique and exercise but for artistic eye, confidence and poise. Our welcoming environment, drama free demeanor, and age appropriate content is incredibly important to us! Our studio gives the community so much more than just great dancers, but well rounded children.

Scholarship Entry '25-'26
Our scholarship offers free dance lessons to a child whose family can't afford classes. This scholarship covers full tuition and costume fees for one season.
Apply below by Sept 1, 2025.
Although our scholarship comes directly from the studio itself, we can help more people have an accessible dance education with help and donations from people like you! We've had many people ask so, if you're interesting in donating to our scholarship fund, we will gladly accept donations to help struggling families pay for their dance lessons, pay for new kids to join our dance studio and experience a wholesome activity at no cost to them, new shoes for dancers who are in need or recital tickets for those who can't afford them.

You can dictate what you'd like done with your scholarship donation. For example you can write- to be used for a new student or to be used for dance wear or to be used for a current dancer whose family is struggling with tuition.
We will also take scholarship donations via Venmo. @McKennaAcademyofDance
No amount is too small and we promise that every ounce of this scholarship money will go towards a child's dance education!
